McCarthy Consulting is acting as the Owner’s Representative for the nearly $85 million Recreation & Wellness Center and Athletic Complex for the City of Hilliard. The Athletic Complex will consist of 20 turf fields of various sizes for sporting events such as soccer and lacrosse. There will be two full size synthetic fields with field lighting, safety netting and score boards for events such as lacrosse and soccer. The Complex will have a pavilion building, parking, access to regional trails and connected via a new road extension being installed by the City of Hilliard.

The 83,000 square foot facility will include a gymnasium wing with multiple courts and layouts for various sports such as basketball, pickle ball, indoor soccer, and other sports. There will be an elevated track, weight room, workout areas, locker rooms, a natatorium wing with multiple pools including a lap pool and recreational pool area. Included in the facility will be 25,000 square feet of medical offices and treatment areas with a wellness partner. Other amenities within the facility include administration areas/offices, childcare areas, meditation rooms, indoor playgrounds, classrooms, senior lounge and outdoor patio areas, an event hall, a healthy cooking area, a juice bar, and commercial size kitchen for food preparation.
